(1) Saturday night was a date with myself. :) I watched Letters To Juliet, a movie shot in Verona, Italy. I so love the setting. Would you believe I almost cried upon seeing the awesome and lovely view of Verona? Though it's only through a wide screen, I felt I was there, savouring the vast beauty that is Verona.
(2) Arroz a la Cubana - my first meal on a Sunday morning. My childhood friend D and I went to Divisoria to buy stuff. We decided to eat breakfast first at Pancake House before we attend the 10am Mass. It's price-y for me but since it's food, there's no room for me to complain to myself for no control. :p
(3) Binondo Church also known as Minor Basilica of St. Lorenzo Ruiz. I took this picture from the Plaza San Lorenzo Ruiz amid the rain. :) It was my second time to visit this church and a first to attend Mass at. One funny experience I have had was when we're about to enter the church, since we're in a hurry, I took the path where I had to cross in front of a kalesa. I was in exactly in front of the horse when it snorted! Naturally, I was startled. I knew it's funny, very that I even noticed how it made the kutsero laughed to the point that he almost fell out of his seat! It's not offending though, the very least, it's OK because I made someone happy that day! :)
(4) D's breakfast version. She told me she's still full but since we'll proceed to 168 Mall after the Mass, she obliged to my urging of eating heavy.
(5) My purchase, a sleeveless top plus a dress (not in pic). The watch is from Tomato. D got interested in my current Tomato watch so we went to SM Manila to buy one for herself. Unfortunately, at home, she realized it doesn't fit her best so she offered it to me. And that meant it is my 2nd T of a watch! Just found out, it can very well match my slip-ons in similar color shades. Nice!
Had a great weekend. I look forward to another one. Can't wait! :)

I want to see Letters to Juliet, too. Haha, I can only imagine the horse's snorting. I probably will have the same reaction. Nakakagulat talaga yun. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, you should watch it Jo, very nice! Aha, nakakagulat talaga, while I'm not afraid naman of horses, iba ng usapan yung bigla na lang syang mag-snort! :p
ReplyDeletesounds like you had a wonderful, relaxing time :)
ReplyDeleteYes, Kayni. It's quite fun shopping at Divisoria kahit pa it's a rainy day. So worth the cheap finds! :)
